Advocating for Real Change

Speaking & Workplace Consulting

Hi, I’m Lisa, speaker, event facilitator, and workplace consultant. I am a champion of burnout prevention, high performance, and well-being. After being diagnosed with Lipedema myself, my speaking career has evolved to include disability advocacy and awareness in corporate settings, as well as speaking to the global Lipedema community. I don’t let Lipedema get me down, as I have learned how to live well with this disease; I love sharing my experiences and lessons learned with organizations and teams!

Advocacy in Action

I’m not the same consultant and leader I was just a few years ago. Don’t get me wrong – I took a ton from my experience in Silicon Valley and tech to guide and inspire leaders to prevent burnout and reboot leadership drive. However, the lessons I’ve learned in the past few years after this diagnosis have fundamentally changed how I approach everything in life, from everyday tasks to healthcare to work. Bringing awareness and advocacy for disabilities in the workplace and in team dynamics has become a new, unexpected opportunity for me, and I’m honored to share what I’ve experienced and seen with organizations and teams.

Lisa then was able to weave wisdom, humor, and generosity of spirit throughout her speaking engagement.”
